Ocean Basic

Ocean is a BASIC syntax compiler for the Windows 32bit operating system. Ocean is a true compiler and generates 100% machine code executables, dynamic link libraries and static libraries. Ocean's command structure is similar to many currently popular BASIC languages and is being developed to make programming applications as simple as possible while still giving the programmer complete control over the Windows environment as needed.

Ocean can compile standalone .EXE, .DLL and .LIB files. The linker can be used to link in standard COFF object files and libraries to your projects. The result is a single .EXE file with no external .DLL files to distribute! Easy access to the Windows API. Create windows and common controls quickly. Built in event system for Windows and Controls. Simply attach a function to an event and Ocean will call it! Multiple project files can be linked together to build final project. Easily expandable command set.

Expand Ocean with third party libraries like 3Impact, OpenGL etc.. You can build static libraries then create header files and make your own commands.

Freeware

Ocean is free for non-commercial use. You may not sell software created with the freeware version of Ocean. You can distribute software created with the free version of Ocean as long as the software is free.

This software is currently in Beta. This software is not complete and does not have proper documentation at this time. Ocean Basic is currently being developed and new features, bug fixes and documentation are forthcoming.

Commercial License

If you would like to sell software created with Ocean the you will need to purchase a commercial license. The commercial license also includes all source code to the parser/compiler, IDE and Ocean libraries.
